About
Hi! My name is Pedro. I am from Brazil and I moved to Rome to study and pursue something in life (I am still figuring it out, may the gods bless me). I have a degree in Museology from my country and currently I am in Rome for a masters in Archaeology, in the University of Tor Vergata. My focus is Ancient History, especially Ancient Rome. I find many subjects interesting, especially iconography and its meaning. I have also taken part in excavations, one of them was inside the Roman Forum, a place that I really love. I have been giving tours since 2019 and have done thousands of them, either working for tour companies in the city or on my own. I do tours mostly in English, but they also happen in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. On Airbnb, I host the walking tour experience and there I achieved a 4.97/5 score and more than 1.400 reviews, alone. As a history enthusiast, I use my passion as fuel to share the local history with those that are looking for me in Rome, being myself, which is a personal commitment. I have an important goal at the moment: my professional independence. I plan to offer my tours in other platforms, like Get Your Guide, TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Viator. Personal interests include cats, old stuff, sarcasm, books and silence.

What is a walking tour?
The Walking Tour is a very popular way that visitors choose in order to explore a new destination. It is a very simple concept: a local guide leads a walk through the city, covering many different locations. The group sees the attractions and the guide explains its context. No vehicles at all, it is all done on foot.
What to expect from my tour?
That's a great question. Being honest: if you don't like history, if you don't like a certain amount of information all at once, I suggest you to not book. The pace is slow. I talk too much. This tour is offered by a guy that really likes history to other people equally interested. Alright?
Usually, each tour lasts about 2 hours and we do not go inside of any place that requires a tickets. And no big groups, the number of guests is around 10 people. Contact me if you are looking for a private experience, it is possible to organize something upon availability. I offer 6 different itineraries, you can see them scrolling down the page.
Book it, you will not regret (I guess).
